To All WHS Graduates

CONGRATULATIONS 2013 THROUGH 2019!

For a month or two in early 2007, the WHS graduating classes of 2013 through 2019 led all classes in pool donations. Directed by gym teacher Theresa Fitzgerald, classes K - 6 at Williamstown Elementary School collected $6000 last February during a community-wide campaign. They sustained their fund drive by jumping rope during gym classes, learning how to improve heart health. Their goals were to help the community and to create a summertime, swimming way to improve heart health through regular exercise. Here is a letter written by (then) second grader Elissa Erb after the fund drive.

To find out how you can help, please read our attached letter. You can also help by participating in our brick fundraiser.

MAKE SURE YOUR CLASS OR TEAM IS INCLUDED IN THE POOL BRICK PLAZA! BUY BRICKS AS A GROUP.

  1. Invite each classmate to purchase a personal brick for themselves or someone else.
  2. Get money and forms sent to a central person for your group. That central person will turn in your group's orders and money all at one time so all your bricks will be laid together on the plaza.
  3. Also consider if you would want to go together to include a large brick to honor lost classmates or teammates.
  4. This is an opportunity to make contact with your classmates and to do a mighty good thing for your hometown's future at the same time.
