Are we ready to make it happen again, just like
our community made it happen in 1949?
Are you ready to make it happen...to make your
own splash for the benefit of this great project?
Late this summer (2008), our beautiful pool is
scheduled to return to the same neighborhood it disappeared from four years ago.
Originally created in 1949 through an outpouring
of money, talent, and hard work from our parents, grandparents, and local
businesses, it served our community extremely well for 55 years before it vanished.
So let's get ready to welcome...in this corner
(6th Street and Williams Ave., to be specific)...the next champion of summertime...the new Williamstown Healthy Lifestyle Swimming Pool!
This is a monumental undertaking...in cost, in urgency,
and in benefit to the quality of life for our town.
Please join the many who are contributing time
and money to this much needed project.
